Karissa + Chace

Every time I meet a couple and have the privilege of capturing their moments, a special connection forms between us. From our initial bridal consultation to the moment I hand them their beautifully crafted wedding album, the moments we share is profoundly meaningful. Honestly, I always hope that our parting won't mark the end of our connection. Karissa and Chace are one of those couples with whom I genuinely hope to maintain a lasting bond.

From the very first conversation, it was evident that working with them would be a joy. Traveling to California to photograph their engagement session was an extraordinary experience, and it all began with Karissa's keen eye for design. She meticulously planned every detail, from their clothing choices to the enchanting locations we explored.

Our adventure began at Montaña de Oro, where we encountered crashing aqua waves against dramatic cliffs. The sky was adorned with clouds, casting various shades of blue that beautifully complemented the ocean.

Next, we headed to Morro Bay, where the famous Morro Rock served as a stunning backdrop for a hazy, yet radiant sunset. Karissa and Chace effortlessly danced along the shoreline, exuding their love.

The following day, we continued our photographic journey. Pismo Beach, the very place where Chace proposed to Karissa, provided a playful and picturesque setting among unique rocks that protruded from the sand.

Finally, we concluded their session at the Oceano Dunes. This location was truly extraordinary and one of the most captivating settings I've had the privilege to work in. The soft sands were joined by the ever-changing skies, transitioning from pastels to dramatic, cloud-filled canvases. Together, we created awe-inspiring art, and we couldn't resist ending the session with races down the dunes!

Spending this time with Karissa and Chace will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I am immensely grateful to have crossed paths with them.
