2023 | A Year In Review

Each year, as I craft my retrospective year in review blog, I'm in disbelief by the events that have graced my life. It's astonishing how much unfolds within a year. The ability to immerse myself in cherished moments with wonderful individuals, while juggling travels, rebranding efforts, magazine publications, along with the design and opening of a new studio, feels absolutely surreal. My heart brims with gratitude!

The canvases of my photography this year stretched across diverse and breathtaking locations. Early in the year, I had the pleasure of exploring Marquette, Michigan for an unforgettable maternity session. February led me to Northern California, and later in October, to Southern California, where I captured the essence of love in engagement sessions in one of my favorites states, forging incredible new bonds along the way.

Meeting new faces each year is an enduring privilege, and I think the world of those who return, some of whom I've had the joy of photographing multiple times throughout the year. Additionally, I hosted not just one, but two mini sessions, which brought a sense of adventure and excitement, stepping away from my typical routine.

As I conclude this year's reflections, I’m reminded yet again of the extraordinary collage of experiences interwoven within a single year's span. To all those who entrusted me to capture their precious moments, to the new friends made along this journey, and to the familiar individuals who consistently enrich my photographic endeavor, thank you for being a part of this beautiful narrative. Here's to the memories created, the connections fostered, and the stories yet to unfold in the upcoming chapters. You are the reason for it all!
